Every bronze casting is in the step by step process of the "Lost Wax Casting" method.

This step is by far  the most critical. All the detail which appears
on the original sculpture must be captured in this mold. The mold
is cut into sections for casting , depending on the size of the sculpture.

Painting into the rubber mold to capture the detail for first layer of wax. Molten wax is poured into the mold to form layers of wax. This wax model is an exact duplicate of the original casting. After the
wax has completely cooled ,The wax is pulled from the mold and hand chased  by a skilled artisan. Then wax duplicate is to be finished to the sculpture’s specifications.  The wax will be look exactly like the original work of art.

Wax rods ( called gates or sprues) pouring cup are attached to the wax casting in just the right positions. This will assure a full pour.

is one of the few materials that withstand the heat of molten bronze .The wax casting is dipped into Investment liquid several times. The wax casting is dipped into the powder plaster sand. This step is repeated several times, each increasing the coarseness
of the material to create the ceramic mold. Between each dip, the ceramic layer must cure (dry) before another layer can be applied.

The ceramic shell is placed up side down in fire. The shell bakes and the wax is melted (lost) from the shell. This creates a hollow ceramic shell mold. Thus the term "Lost Wax".

The ceramic shell (mold) is removed from the fire and immediately the molten bronze is poured into the shell.

After the casting has cooled several hours, the shell is carefully broken away leaving the unfinished bronze. The shell is chipped off and a rough casting is removed .

Any fragments of the ceramic shell are removed by sandblasting. The sculpture is also carefully inspected at this point.

Reassemble will take place in the welding                           area. At this time all the pieces of the sculpture
are welded together by our skilled craftsman.

The bronze must now be repaired and finished.
All the weld marks are chased and re-detailed.

The raw bronze sculpture is now hand
polished in preparation for the patina .
Since bronze comes in variety of alloys,
the patina requires different chemicals and
techniques to achieve variety color and
           finish by skilled artist.

A coating of wax is applied to the surface while
it is hot  to ensure a beautiful lustrous patina .
Bronze sculptures are heirlooms you can be
proud to display and enjoy every day.
